Trebal's Lab

Trebal pulled up to his laboraty slash home as he rushed inside the three story building. immidiatly going to the basement where his lab was. "What's the situation!?" he called as he stepped inside.

"Dr. Trebal! Mr. Adams injected himself with the serum against all our warnings! he's going berserk! he killed James and Holly!" one of his lab assisstants stuttered. followed by a loud crash behind him in the lab. "Shit! he's out!"

Trebal pushed the man aside and stepped inside, seeing verious tools and vials thrown about. he removed his sunglasses and set them aside. "Adams..." he said slowly, seeing the man standing there, hunched over and gasping for breath. "Are you alright?"

the man, Adams, glared at Trebal with blooshot eyes and twitching muscles. "Kill...you!" he screamed as he charged.

Trebal leapt to the side and grabbed a vial, breaking it he used it as a makeshift knife.

Alex was walking by the house when he saw a man run in and heard crashing so he pulled out a deck of cards and stepped inside quietly and made his way down to the basement.

Trebal glared as Adams charged him again. this time he ducked and brought the vial up and jabbed into Adams' throat, making the making the man stumble back and gasp for breath as he clutched at his throat for air.

"Your application and usefulness to me have come to an end, Adams..." Trebal said calmly fixing his clothes and making his way over the sunglasses and putting them on.

Alex walked in just in time to see Trebal stab Adams in the throat and he walked in and said "What was that all about?" he looked at Trebal and said "Hey! aren't you that guy working on the serum to alleviate the weaknesses?"

Trebal briefly wondered if the word 'secret' meant anything to the high paying people in the world. "Yes, I am," Trebal confirmed with a nod. "I am Trebal Reksew, and what are you doing in my lab?" he asked in turn, raising a brow behind his sunglasses.

"I saw you rush in, then i heard a crash and some yelling so i came in." he said as he looked around then said "Hey, since we're here wanna play some poker, or how about black jack?"

Trebal shook his head. "I don't play cards." he replied, turning to his torn down lab and moving through it. "Ah...there you are..." he picked the last fifteen remaining vials of the serum with a sigh of relief. "How did you hear of my research?" he asked, grabbing one of the vials and loading it into an injection gun.

"I'm friends with one of your benefactors, the blond man, you remember him? Maxwell Luca?" he said as he put his cards away and looked around.

Trebal grunted. "Oh...I see." he finished loading the injection gun, then setting inside a case with the rest of the vials. "Please do not touch anything, some of the chemicals in this room can melt your skin." he warned.

"I see." he said as he looked around at the floor making sure they werent near him. "So, you don't play cards huh?"

Trebal shook his head. "Games are trivial wastes of time." he replied, sealing the case and turning to Alex. "If you would accompany me upstairs where we may talk without the fear of dangerous chemicals." he stepped out and up the stairs.

"Sure." he said as he followed him up then said "They may be trivial to you, but i need them." as he watched him.

Trebal sighed. "Sorry for you inconveniance..." he replied as he sat down at the kitchen table. "Seeing as my lab is in need of cleaning, I will likely not be able to finish the serum to it's full potential." he muttered to himself, then remembered the original serum sample. the one he used on the rat. "Tell me, Alex was it?, What else do you know of my research?"

"Just what Max tells me." he said as he shrugged and took a seat across from Trebal.

Trebal nodded. "Oh," he said boredly. pulling out two glasses and some wine, "Pour yourself if you want some." Trebal said while pouring his glass and taking a sip. "So, aside from being a helpful citizen, what else do you do?" he asked curiously, watching as two people stepped into the lab with hazmat suits.

He pours himself some of the wine and said "I gamble for money mostly, but i also do some work as an artist." as he took a sip of the wine.

"An artist? what sort of art?" Trebal asked. taking another sip of his wine then setting the case down and keeping it within reach.

"I do sketches and comics." he said as he watched him and took a sip of the wine.

Trebal nodded. "I see..." he said, "Interesting, sketches and comics..." he shook his head. "I thought the whole world replaced all that with manga." he joked.

He chuckled and said "I draw manga too, i do all three." then took a sip of his wine.

Trebal nodded. "Oh, well, I certainly wish you luck in your endeavors." he finished his sentance two men came up from the lab.

"It's clean, Dr. Reksew." then they left.

Trebal stood and made his way back down to the lab. "Feel free to use whatever you want up here, just don't make a mess, I have to check something." he called.

"Sure thing." he said as he looked around for a minute and leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes for a minute.

Trebal moved down into the lab, observing the dead Adams with a hint of distaste before moving over to the vial containing a green liquid, with careful hands he held it. "Good...he didn't destroy you..." he said softly, taking a syringe gun and putting the vial in. "I know my genetic code allows you accept me, so this...will be end differant then with Adams." he muttered.

He jabbed the Syringe into his neck and pumped the liquid in.

He yelled in agony

Alex heard the yelling so he went down into the lab and looked around and saw Trebal.

Trebal dropped the injection gun with half the vial there. glancing around he observed his surroudings as the pain ebbed away. "Sorry..." he said, fixing his coat. "I was just testing something." he said, then walked over to a chalkboard. removing his glove he ran a nail down it, then stopped as his ears blared with pain. "Agh!" he hissed, covering them. "It didn't work...still needs some fund tuning..." he hissed. moving over to some papers and writing some things down.
